aR5 is a dedicated control and management program for the AOR AR5000 communications receiver. It is designed to ergonomically greatly simplify access to most of the features of the AR5000.
It also enables some features which are not possible on the receiver itself, for example copying from a memory to any vfo.

Features are designed to be intuitive so that with help hints further reference to this help file should rarely be needed.
 | Programming
aR5 enables you to setup almost all of the settings in the AR5000 very easily for later remote use without
aR5. While the AR5000 provides the best interface it can with a limited screen,
aR5 makes the whole process of programming your Scan and Search channels and options, vastly easier. |

 | Interface
aR5 is designed from scratch to be your main front end interface to the receiver for base station use, offering many additional advanced features such as comprehensive Scan, Search and Long Term logging and slick keyboard or mouse control. e.g. Switch between VFOs, and current mem, tune any VFO and step through memories all with one hand from the 4 cursor keys of your PC keyboard. |
 | Requirements
aR5 is full 32 bit, multi threaded, multitasking application running on Win95, Win98, WinMe,
