What is aR5Grabber
aR5Grabber is a Tray Icon utility which can be used to
grab frequencies from the clipboard.
With aR5Grabber, when you find a web site listing
frequencies of interest, press Ctrl-A (select all) followed by Ctrl-C (copy) and
then press your chosen hot key for aR5Grabber (Ctrl-Alt-Shift-5 is the default)
then aR5Grabber pops up with all the frequencies extracted and ready for export
to aR5's text database format, from where it can be imported into your database
table and your receiver.
aR5Grabber features
- Grab frequencies from clipboard
- Export to aR5 format for import to aR5
- Drag drop selected text from drag/drop enabled
applications (Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Word, Wordpad etc.)
- Global Hot Key pop up from system tray. Run aR5 grabber
at start up if you wish and instantly pop up anytime. Key is user selectable
and shows in tray icon tooltip.
- Auto-Grab frequencies on Hot Key pop up.
- Auto-Popup on Clipboard has Frequencies! Scan clipboard
in the background and pop-up automatically when frequencies are found
- KHz -> MHz conversion. Convert individual, selected,
or all frequencies from KHz to MHz. Or automatically convert on grab. Useful
when grabbing from frequency databases in known format
- Auto-Add to selected. Also useful when grabbing in
known format.
- Save-Load chosen frequencies to file. Build up lists
over time, save them, load them, back them up, export them when you have
finished.

- aR5 registered users can also copy to clipboard and
export to CSV file.
- Optional strip leading and trailing zeros on copy.
- Instantly tune an AR5000 with aR5. Double click a
frequency and if aR5 is running and on a VFO then the receiver will tune to
that frequency. Pull in many frequencies from anywhere that can copy to
clipboard, and instantly tune to them.
